I’m not having a baby anytime soon… but i know my friend is in labor at present so thank GOD i came across this awesomeness. I’m excited for when i do have little kittens though, they will be dressed in awesomeness like this every. day. yessss.
Today, I ran over a squirrel. I saw it twitching so I backed over it to end its suffering. It wasn’t a squirrel it was a kitten. The children it belonged to watched as I ran over their kitten. TWICE. FML
on the way home from Beal Street i had a depressing moment to myself when i looked down on the street floor and there were two peeps (from Easter) that had died from the heavy rain fall that happened earlier today… today their purpose in life had not been fulfilled… no, they did not please any child by letting themselves become sacrifices one body section part at a time… they were lost… by someone… who didn’t look back… and then left to drown in the blues by the rain. Poetry, people…poetry.
today was a wonderful wonderful easter. I got to spend it with my family who flew all the way to Memphis to have Easter together with Elvis. Here’s a picture of me in Elvis’s living room @ Graceland. If you ever go to Memphis you haveeee to see Graceland… Hope your Easter was full of fun… lover you bunnies.

i leave him for one minute tonight at my show and i come back to find him surrounded by all his “fans” gagaing over him… pffft.
this post goes out to my little suck ass brother. I will get you back… the only sucky part is that you might have to anticipate it for the rest of your life until my cleverness attacks you. Anyways… this morning as I was shopping around Boston i get a text from my 20 year old tulsa oklahoma living brother saying, “I messed up you should talk to sister” Oh no what does THAT mean. Then after talking to sister come to find out he says he prego-ed some white trash girl’s ego and that she was keeping it and i was gonna be auntie katy. I tried to talk to him and tell him that life may not be so easy playing daddy to an 18 year old girl whom you barely know that comes from a “situation” at home as well. I also gave him a sturdy thrashing about how he’s not gonna ruin the hudson-perry kin. When we siblings decide to grow little ones it won’t be on accident with a stranger… ew. so here i was sitting in my hotel room wondering how am i gonna talk to this girl that wants to play mommy for a couple months and how to register online for the maternity section of WHERE THE HELL EVER. Then bam. Right as you know it… brother beats me to it.

you little suck ass i will get you. That is the OLDEST one in the book and I used that on you LAST YEAR. and p.s. WHY also does every girl go for that “I’m preggos” april fools joke. BE CREATIVE. Jeeze. On THAT note I found a fantastic disturbing new blog (stolen from missbehaveblog.com) that reminds you about how uncool it is to play that april fools card.

One of my favorite things to do lately is spread the gospel about music and new bands and send ITUNES gifts to friends… it’s so easy… matter a fact, for me when the clock hits midnight and it becomes new music tuesday i go SHOPPING. I probably buy 5-7 new records a week. I cherish them. Last week I got Cursive, Bon Iver, New Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lisa Hannigan and Fever Ray (which is a bit bizarre, but i was a fool in love for The Knife)
I ALSO got the new ep to a FANTASTIC band called Asteroids Galaxy Tour. I was introduced to them via BBM picture via Mia Moretti AKA DJ Mia Moretti FKA DJ Group-E. Anyway, I ran online only to find that they were playing on my night off in Chicago the other day… so of course i went and saw them. SO FUN. She’s like a young Kate Moss/Twiggy with a voice from outerspace and has no inhibitions, which i love about any woman on stage. So if you’re cruising around itunes this week… sample their EP… it’s only a few dollars… I wish i had all y’alls emails… i would be a gifter.
maybe one day i could share the same stage with them… they are gonna be HOT this summer…HOT. I swear.
